Grace
The grace of God best fills a man who empties himself of himself. C.S.
Lewis
Romans 8:1-5 1 Therefore there is now no condemnation for
those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ
Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. 3 For what the Law
could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son
in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin
in the flesh, 4 so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us,
who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For
those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the
flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
Ephesians 2:8-10
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no
one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for
good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
Salvation
Romans 10:9-11 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus
as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you
will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in
righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11
For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.”
Romans 10: 13-15,17-18 13 for “Whoever will call on the name
of the Lord will be saved.” 14 How then will they call on Him in whom they
have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard?
And how will they hear without a preacher? 15 How will they preach unless
they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those
who bring good news of good things!” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and
hearing by the word of Christ. 18 But I say, surely they have never heard,
have they? Indeed they have; “Their voice has gone out into all the earth,
and their words to the ends of the world.”
John 14:6 Jesus
said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the
Father but through Me.
Luke 5: 31-32 31 And Jesus answered and said to them, “It is
not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick. 32 “I
have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”
Is. 59:1-2 1 Behold, the
Lord’s hand is not so short
that it cannot save; nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear. 2 But your
iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins
have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.
Luke 9:23-26 23 And He was saying to them all, “If anyone
wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily
and follow Me. 24 “For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but
whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it. 25 “For
what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits
himself? “For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be
ashamed of him when He comes in His glory, and the glory of the Father and
of the holy angels.
Is. 12:2 “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not
be afraid; For the Lord
God is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation.
John 4: 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who
drinks of this water will thirst again; 14 but whoever drinks of the water
that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him
will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
Rev. 21:6 Then
He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and
the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of
life without cost.
Rev. 3:20
‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens
the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
Ezek. 18: 27; 30-31 27 “Again, when a wicked man turns away
from his wickedness which he has committed and practices justice and
righteousness, he will save his life. 30 “Therefore I will judge you, O
house of Israel, each according to his conduct,” declares the Lord
God. “Repent and turn away
from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not become a stumbling
block to you. 31 “Cast away from you all your transgressions which you have
committed and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! For why will you
die, O house of Israel?
Matthew 7:13-14
13 “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad
that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 “For
the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are
few who find it.
