Ps. 27:1,14   1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread? 14 Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.

I Thess. 5:24  Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.

Eccles. 7: 13 Consider the work of God, For who is able to straighten what He has bent?

Luke 10:18-20 18 And He said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. 19  “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. 20  “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.”

Psalm 147: 6  The Lord supports the afflicted; He brings down the wicked to the ground. 11 The Lord favors those who fear Him, Those who wait for His lovingkindness.

2 Cor. 12:9 9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 

Isaiah 40:28-31  28    Do you not know? Have you not heard?  The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired.  His understanding is inscrutable.  29 He gives strength to the weary,  And to him who lacks might He increases power.  30 Though youths grow weary and tired,  And vigorous young men stumble  badly,  31 Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength;  They will mount up with wings like eagles,  They will run and not get tired,  They will walk and not become weary.

Ps. 71:1-6   1  In You, O Lord, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed. 2 In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; For You are my rock and my fortress. 4  Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the grasp of the wrongdoer and ruthless man, 5 for You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my confidence from my youth. 6 By You I have been sustained from my birth; You are He who took me from my mother’s womb; My praise is continually of You. Is. 43:1-3   1 But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!  2  “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. 3 “For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

Is. 12:2    “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.

Ps. 61:1-4 1 Hear my cry, O God; Give heed to my prayer. 2 From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. 3 For You have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength against the enemy. 4 Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings.

Job 39:11 “Will you trust Him because His strength is great and leave your labor to Him?

Ps. 33:12,16-18   12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.16 The king is not saved by a mighty army; A warrior is not delivered by great strength. 17   A horse is a false hope for victory; nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength. 18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope for His lovingkindness,
