Ephesians 6: 14
Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on
the breastplate of righteousness,
Matthew 5: 17-20
17 “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not
come to abolish but to fulfill. 18 “For truly I say to you, until heaven
and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the
Law until all is accomplished. 19 “Whoever then annuls one of the least of
these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least
in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be
called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 “For I say to you that unless your
righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not
enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 6:
1 “Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to
be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in
heaven.
Matthew 6: 33 “But
seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be
added to you.
Romans 1: 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed

righteousness.”
Romans 4: 13 For
the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the
world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness
will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
Romans 10: 4 For Christ is the end of the law for
righteousness to everyone who believes. 5 For Moses writes that the man who
practices the righteousness which is based on law shall live by that
righteousness. 6 But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows:
“Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring
Christ down)
Romans 10: 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as
Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will
be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness,
and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Galatians 3: 6
Even so Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.
