Don’t let the devil discourage you about your past, when he brings up
your past, then bring up his future.
Hell is truth seen too late.
The Spirit within us always wants to do what is true, Satan’s therefore
takes what is false in this world and makes look like it is the truth.
There is no fuel shortage in hell.
Ephesians 6:10-17 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in
the strength of His might. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will
be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle
is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers,
against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of
wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of
God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done
everything, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm therefore, having girded your
loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15
and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16
in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be
able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the
helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
2 Thess. 3: 3 But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen
and protect you from the evil one.
Luke 10:18-20 18 And He said to them, “I was watching Satan
fall from heaven like lightning. 19 “Behold, I have given you authority to
tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and
nothing will injure you. 20 “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the
spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in
heaven.”
Isaiah 14:12-17 (Satan’s form when it is all over?) 12 “How
you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You
have been cut down to the earth, you who have weakened the nations! 13 “But
you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne
above the stars of God, and I will sit on the mount of assembly in the
recesses of the north. 14 ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I
will make myself like the Most High.’ 15 “Nevertheless you will be thrust
down to Sheol, to the recesses of the pit. 16 “Those who see you will gaze
at you, They will ponder over you, saying, ‘Is this the man who made the
earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms, 17 Who made the world like a wilderness
And overthrew its cities, Who did not allow his prisoners to go home?
Luke 12: 4 “I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of
those who kill the body and after that have no more that they can do. 5 “But
I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed, has
authority to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!
Zachariah 3:1-2 1
Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of
the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. 2 The Lord
said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the Lord who has chosen
Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”
Ephesians 4:22-24 24 And put on the new self, which in the
likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
25 Therefore, laying aside falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his
neighbor, for we are members of one another. 26 Be angry, and yet do not
sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and do not give the devil
an opportunity.
Matthew 7: 15-24 15 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to
you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 “You will
know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor
figs from thistles, are they? 17 “So every good tree bears good fruit, but
the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 “A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor
can a bad tree produce good fruit. 19 “Every tree that does not bear good
fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 “So then, you will know them
by their fruits. 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter
the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in
heaven will enter. 22 “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we
not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your
name perform many miracles?’ 23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never
knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’
I Peter 5:6-8,10 6 Therefore humble yourselves under
the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, 7 casting
all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 8 Be of sober spirit, be
on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion,
seeking someone to devour. 10 After you have suffered for a little while,
the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will
Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
2 Tim. 2: 23,24,25,26 23 But refuse foolish and ignorant
speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels. 24 The Lord’s bond-servant
must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when
wronged, 25 with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if
perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,
26 and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil,
having been held captive by him to do his will.
