Encouragement
There is no failure that He has not taken hold of and remade. Failure is
only failure when it is repeated
Lamentations 3:22-33 22 The
Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed
never cease, For His compassions never fail. 23 They are new every
morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 24 “The
Lord is my portion,” says my
soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.” 25 The
Lord is good to those who wait
for Him, To the person who seeks Him. 26 It is good that he waits silently
For the salvation of the Lord.
27 It is good for a man that he should bear The yoke in his youth. 28 Let
him sit alone and be silent Since He has laid it on him. 29 Let him put his
mouth in the dust, Perhaps there is hope. 30 Let him give his cheek to the
smiter, Let him be filled with reproach. 31 For the Lord will not reject
forever, 32 For if He causes grief, Then He will have compassion
According to His abundant lovingkindness. 33 For He does not
afflict willingly Or grieve the sons of men.
Isaiah 40:28-31 28 Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord,
the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His
understanding is inscrutable. 29 He gives strength to the weary, And to
him who lacks might He increases power. 30 Though youths grow weary and
tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, 31 Yet those who wait for
the Lord Will gain new
strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not
get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
Ephesians 6:10-20 10
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11 Put on
the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the
schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this
darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly
places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be
able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand
firm. 14 Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and
having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your
feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 in addition to all,
taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all
the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and
the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 With all prayer and
petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the
alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, 19 and pray on
my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to
make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an
ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought
to speak.
