Faith is believing in advance what will make sense in the future.

Children

Psalms 127:3-5  3 Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. 5 How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed When they speak with their enemies in the gate.

Love/Confession of sin

I John 1:6-9   6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;  7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Our works

Luke 9: 49-50 49 John answered and said, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name; and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow along with us.” 50 But Jesus said to him, “Do not hinder him; for he who is not against you is for you.”

Encouragement

Pro. 15: 23 A man has joy in an apt answer, and how delightful is a timely word!

Wisdom/Our witness

2 Cor. 6:14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? 

Hope

Pro. 13:12       Hope deferred makes the heart sick,  but desire fulfilled is a tree of life.

The enemy/Wisdom

Luke 12: 4 “I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have no more that they can do. 5  “But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!
