Our works/Perspective/Reward

Many Christians want the glory without the cross, the shining without the burning, the coronation without the crucifixion  (I have been crucified in Christ)

Eccles 12:12-13 12 But beyond this, my son, be warned: the writing of many books is endless, and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body. 13 The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.            

Our works/Our strength

Job 39:11 “Will you trust Him because His strength is great and leave your labor to Him?

The Enemy

Matthew 10:26  “Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.

Wisdom/Loss

Eccles 7:1,3, 1 A good name is better than a good ointment, and the day of one’s death is better than the day of one’s birth. 3 Sorrow is better than laughter, for when a face is sad a heart may be happy.  

Salvation

Rev. 3:20 ‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

Our strength
