Walking in the Spirit

When a man is rightly related to God, he cannot be wrongly related to men.

Sovereignty

Is. 40: 28-31 28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. 29 He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. 30 Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, 31 Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.

Confidence/Security/ Our strength/Encouragement/The enemy

Luke 10:18-20 18 And He said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. 19  “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. 20  “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.”

Loss/Trials

Romans 8:18  For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

Faith/Encouragement

Luke 1:36-37  36 “And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month. 37 “For nothing will be impossible with God.”

Wisdom

Pro 20: 3 Keeping away from strife is an honor for a man, but any fool will quarrel.

Temptation

Gal. 5:7-8   7  You were running well; who hindered you from obeying the truth? 8This persuasion did not come from Him who calls you.

Sovereignty

Pro 20:24 Man’s steps are ordained by the Lord, how then can man understand his way?
