Faith
You cannot discover
new oceans of faith unless you have the courage to leave your current shore
of security.
Temptation/Walking in the Spirit
Gal. 5:16-23 16 But I
say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the
flesh. 17 For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit
against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you
may not do the things that you please. 18 But if you are led by
the Spirit, you are not under the Law. 19 Now the deeds of the flesh are
evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery,
enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions,
factions, 21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of
which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice
such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the
Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23
gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Forgiveness/Security
Romans 8: 1-4 1
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from
the law of sin and of death. 3 For what the Law could not do, weak as it
was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of
sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,
4 so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do
not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
Pro. 26:11
Like a dog that returns to its vomit is a fool who repeats his folly.
Forgiveness
Ps. 25:7,11,18 7 Do not
remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to Your
lovingkindness remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O
Lord. 11 For Your name’s sake,
O Lord, pardon my iniquity,
for it is great. 18 Look upon my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all
my sins.
Security
Jeremiah.
32:27; “Behold, I am the
Lord, the God of all flesh; is
anything too difficult for Me?”
Love
John 13:34-35 34 “A new
commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved
you, that you also love one another. 35 “By this all men will know that you
are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Wisdom
Pro. 14: 18 The naive
inherit foolishness, but the sensible are crowned with knowledge.
