A One World Religion Headquarters is set to open in 2022. The headquarters will be called The Abrahamic Family House and is being built on an island in the middle eastern city of Abu Dhabi. After signing a global peace covenant called the Document of Human Fraternity for World Peace, both Pope Francis of the Catholic church and Sunni Muslim leader, Sheikh Ahmen al-Tayeb, agreed in this venture.
The stated purpose of the Abrahamic Family House is to bring understanding and tolerance among all faiths, with a few exceptions. First, Abu Dhabi is a part of the UAE (United Arab Emirates), where it is illegal for Christians to share their faith with Muslims. But Muslims are free to share their faith and convert others, including Christians, to Islam.
The One World Religion Headquarters will have three buildings representing the mosque, church, and synagogue. However, the church will not be permitted to display a cross on its building as an identifying symbol.
In the book of Revelation (Chapters 12, 17,18), a one-world church is mentioned several times during the last three and ½ years of the tribulation. The tribulation is the last seven years on earth before Christ returns. Throughout this time, there will be one tragedy, war, and plague after the other; billions, not millions, will die. The one-world church called Babylon will rule the earth during this time, demanding total allegiance from everyone. Revelation describes it as a very rich and powerful church that will persecute those who do not follow its dictates. Of course, there will be some Christian values in its beliefs, as there will be values from other religions like Islam and Buddhism. But one thing you won’t be able to hold to is that Jesus is the only way to salvation. Jesus said in the Gospel of John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me.” You will be persecuted or even killed for believing this.
Is the One World Religion Headquarters of 2022 the beginning of this Babylon church spoken of in Revelation? Probably not, because geographically, it does not fit. But it may undoubtedly be a forerunner of Babylon, just as John the Baptist was the forerunner of Jesus.
I believe this is yet another possible sign of a coming tribulation, of which I want to be as prepared as possible, especially concerning my relationship with God. How about you?
